Privacy Policy
This site exists to explain one guided coach day across Kyoto and Nara: the six stops, the departure choices and what each option covers. Reading any of it requires no registration, no login and no email address. There are no accounts and no forms anywhere on these pages, so no reader profile accumulates as you browse. The site is plain reading, and that is the whole arrangement.
What Reading Here Involves
The only figures this site looks at are anonymous, rolled-up counts: how many times a page was viewed, a rough country signal drawn from the request, the kind of device used, and which outbound links, such as the tour booking link, were clicked in aggregate. None of this identifies a reader. There is no name, no email address, no payment detail and no browsing history tied to any individual. A hundred people reading the same itinerary page look, to these numbers, like a hundred anonymous page views and nothing more.
Third-Party Scripts
A small number of third-party scripts run on these pages. The analytics tool collects its aggregate numbers under its own published terms, and any embedded map of Kyoto or Nara is served by the mapping provider, which may set its own cookies when it loads. Those parties see the request that reaches them and handle it according to the policies they publish themselves.
No transaction takes place on this site. Every purchase happens after a reader follows a link to the seller's own checkout, and it is that checkout which takes payment details, personal information and voucher delivery. This site never sees a card number, a name or a booking reference. How the links on these pages relate to the site's earnings is set out on the disclosure page.
Outside Scripts and Links
- No reader information is passed on, sold or leased to anyone, for the simple reason that none is held in a form that could be handed over. There is no reader database to share, because the site never builds one.
- No ad pixels, cross-site trackers or retargeting scripts run on these pages. Nothing follows a reader around the web after they finish reading about the tour, and no advertiser learns that a particular person looked at this itinerary.
- No email address is requested anywhere on the site. There is no newsletter, no mailing list and no account system, so there is nothing to subscribe to and nothing to unsubscribe from.
- No money is taken here for a tour booking. Payment is handled entirely by the seller's checkout after a reader follows a link, so questions about a charge go to whoever took that payment, not to this site.
- There is no on-page contact form. The contact page offers a plain mailto link, which means any message is written and sent in your own email program, under your own provider's handling.
Hosting
The site runs behind Cloudflare, whose network keeps standard server logs holding IP addresses and request details. Those logs exist to keep the pages available and secure, and they are held under Cloudflare's own policies rather than read or repurposed by this site. Nothing on the hosting side feeds back into the anonymous counts described above.
Your Choices
A private browsing window or a tracking blocker will stop the analytics scripts from loading, and every page on the site still works and reads exactly the same way. Blocking costs a reader nothing in content: the itinerary, the option comparisons and the booking links are all plain pages that do not depend on tracking to display.
If anything here is unclear, the contact page carries a plain mailto link. For how the site earns from the links on its pages, see the disclosure page.
